November Recap

I've been very lax on doing regular updates this month and I am very sorry. The missus and I have been rather busy this month traveling around Japan. I thought I would give a quick recap so hopefully this doesn't get too long.

Since last I posted, Gail and I traveled to Fukuoka on Kyushu.

There we watched sumo.

I got to meet retired Yokozuna Musashimaru.

On the way back we stopped at Space World. It is a rather nice park but well....

Yes, that's right. There is a height limit. You wanna know how tall I am? 194cm.

The next weekend (Thanksgiving Weekend) we traveled to Miyajima to look at the leaves changing.

And we watch the sunset from Mt. Misen. That was the good part, the bad part was waiting two hours for the lift back down because I didn't want to try walking down the mountain in the dark.

The next day we went by bullet train to visit Gail's cousin and his family to celebrate Thanksgiving. We got to see darling little Lia again and meet Lio for the first time.

We also visited Ritsurin park for leaf viewing and to feed the coy.

Gail also thought about getting a new hat.

The rest of the month has just been a coast to payday. Hopefully next month I won't cram everything into one post again.

Fun With Water

Gail and I went to the park over the weekend to visit the Hiroshima Museum of Contemporary Art. The price was right (free) and the works featured inside were definitely equivalent to the admission fee.

The water fountains are a little funny here. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
